These honeycomb chain earrings have a graceful sway to them and a good bit of length without being heavy. Each pair is individually handmade, with each hexagon formed and fused several times.
Fusing is the process where I heat the metal until just the point where the surface liquefies and bonds stongly with the next piece, but without melting the center so it keeps its shape. It makes strong, clean bonds and a beautiful molten metal texture that I highlight with a matte finish so it shimmers in the light. It's also a more eco friendly way of connecting metal, since there is no flux used! Simply fire over a charcoal brick plus technique.

These come with comfy silicone covered silver butterfly backs, they are more secure than traditional butterfly backs, don't go sideways and are easier to grab in addition to being more comfortable.

Argentium Silver is tarnish-resistant and higher purity than traditional sterling silver. It's also hypoallergenic! If kept clean it will stay bright with minimal maintenance. Put jewelry on after any products such as lotions or perfumes have set, and take them off before bathing. Store in a dry location. If they get products on them, simply wash in warm water and mild dish soap, then dry with a soft cloth.
